FB Mondial Re-enters India Under Motohaus with Piega 452 Launch

Italian motorcycle maker FB Mondial is making its comeback in India at the upcoming India Bike Week 2025. The brand, which discontinued operations in 2020, will return under the Kolhapur-based Motohaus banner, the same company responsible for Brixton and VLF motorcycles in India.

FB Mondial returns under Motohaus

Motohaus will oversee the sales and service operations for FB Mondial in India. The group has also confirmed that it will provide after-sales support to existing FB Mondial owners, ensuring smoother re-entry for the brand. The comeback will officially begin with the India debut of the Piega 452 at the India Bike Week, scheduled for December 19 and 20, 2025.

Piega 452 – the comeback model

The Piega 452 will be the brand’s first offering in India. It is powered by a 449.5cc, parallel-twin, DOHC engine producing 47 bhp at 9,500 rpm and 39 Nm at 7,600 rpm. The motor comes paired with a six-speed gearbox. With a kerb weight of 176 kg and a compact 10-litre fuel tank, the Piega balances agility with performance.

The bike comes equipped with a colour TFT display supporting smartphone connectivity, dual-channel ABS, and traction control. The European model’s specifications are expected to remain unchanged for India, giving the Piega 452 a strong start in the mid-capacity segment.

Launch and rivals in India

The FB Mondial Piega 452 will make its India debut at the India Bike Week 2025, marking a major step in the brand’s revival. Once launched, it will compete with the Aprilia Tuono 457 and Yamaha MT-03. Pricing will play a crucial role in determining its success as FB Mondial looks to re-establish itself in India’s growing premium motorcycle market.
