Tata Curvv Updated with New Interior and Dual-Zone AC: Check Out What’s Changed
Tata Motors has quietly rolled out an interior update for the Tata Curvv, giving the SUV a more premium and comfortable feel. The update, first spotted by Vahan Warta, adds a fresh cabin theme and a few convenience features aimed at improving the overall experience for passengers.
A Lighter, Airier Cabin
The most noticeable change is the new interior colour theme, called Lalitpur Grey. It replaces the earlier maroon shade with a lighter grey finish across the dashboard, seats, and door panels. This new colour gives the cabin a brighter, more open feel and a touch of elegance. The lighter upholstery also helps the cabin feel roomier and more premium.
More Comfort and Convenience
Tata has added rear window sunblinds, improving passenger comfort during long drives or sunny commutes. The updated Curvv also now features dual-zone automatic climate control, allowing the driver and front passenger to set individual temperature preferences. Seat cushioning has also been subtly reworked to improve space and comfort, enhancing the car’s sense of roominess.

No Mechanical Changes
The update is limited to interior enhancements, with no changes to the powertrain options. The Tata Curvv continues to be offered with a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 118 hp and 170 Nm, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine delivering 116 hp and 260 Nm. The Curvv EV also remains available with two battery options — 45 kWh and 55 kWh — catering to different range needs.
Why Tata Made This Move
The Curvv sits in a competitive segment where features and comfort often make the difference. With rivals like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Mahindra XUV 3XO constantly upping their game, Tata’s latest tweak keeps the Curvv fresh and appealing without a full facelift. The addition of lighter interiors and more comfort-focused features hints at Tata’s intent to position the Curvv as a more lifestyle-oriented SUV.
