GR1T Electric Bikes Make Global Debut at EICMA 2025 Compact, Lightweight and Boldly Different

At EICMA 2025, among global giants like Honda and Yamaha, a new name made a confident entrance, GR1T. The international start-up unveiled its first two electric motorcycles, the G1S Street and the G1X Scrambler. Both models mark GR1T’s debut into the performance electric segment, combining compact design, lightweight engineering and accessible performance for everyday riders.

The G1S Street and G1X Scrambler

GR1T’s lineup begins with two distinct models built on a shared platform. The G1S Street is a sleek commuter designed for urban agility, while the G1X Scrambler takes on a more rugged and adventurous identity. Both feature a frame that blends steel and aluminium components for a strong yet lightweight structure. At just 1,345 mm in wheelbase and weighing under 130 kg, they promise sharp handling and nimble performance.

Power and Performance

Under the bodywork, both GR1T models are powered by an 11 kW electric motor, delivering peak power of 36 hp and a top speed of 130 km/h. This setup qualifies the bikes for riders with an A1 licence, opening the door to younger enthusiasts. The highlight, however, is the removable dual-battery system. With a total capacity of around 6 kWh, it delivers an estimated range of 150 km and can be recharged easily at home or work from a regular socket. Riders can also choose between different battery sizes based on their priorities, more range or less weight.

Design and Innovation

The G1 models are built for riders who value practicality as much as design. The mix of materials ensures durability without adding unnecessary mass, and the compact structure makes them ideal for tight urban streets. The modular battery setup adds flexibility rarely seen in production electric motorcycles, showing GR1T’s commitment to real-world usability over pure hype.

When Will It Launch?

GR1T has announced that deliveries for the G1S Street and G1X Scrambler will begin in 2027. While the company has not shared plans for India yet, the combination of performance, lightness and practicality could resonate strongly with Indian urban riders once the brand expands globally.

Conclusion

GR1T’s debut at EICMA 2025 proves that innovation in electric mobility isn’t limited to big manufacturers. With its bold ideas and rider-friendly engineering, the G1S and G1X show what the next generation of electric motorcycles could look like, clean, clever and genuinely fun to ride.
