India’s midsize SUV segment is only getting hotter with new arrivals lined up through 2026. From EVs to hybrids and feature-loaded facelifts, buyers will soon have more choices than ever in the Rs 12–25 lakh range.
Maruti Suzuki eVitara
Maruti Suzuki will enter India’s electric SUV space with the eVitara, launching in December 2025. It is expected to offer two battery options and a claimed range of around 500 km. Positioned above the Brezza, this model will compete with the MG ZS EV and the upcoming Creta EV.
The electric SUV could be priced between Rs 15–20 lakh (ex-showroom), making it one of the most affordable long‑range EVs in India. It is also expected to get advanced safety tech and a connected features suite, signalling Maruti’s move toward premium electric mobility.
Next-Gen Kia Seltos
The new-generation Kia Seltos will debut globally in December 2025 and arrive in India in 2026. It will get a refreshed design, larger dimensions and a more premium interior with updated tech. New Renault Duster
Confirmed for launch in India on January 26, 2026, the new Duster will use the CMF-B platform. It will continue to offer rugged styling and capable performance. Expected price: Rs 12–18 lakh. Renault is evaluating hybrid options to take on the Creta and Grand Vitara with better fuel efficiency.
Skoda Kushaq Facelift

Honda Elevate Hybrid
Honda will introduce the hybrid Elevate in late 2026 with the proven City e:HEV powertrain. Fuel efficiency of around 26–27 kmpl is expected. Expected pricing: Rs 16–22 lakh. It will mainly target buyers wanting low running costs and refined daily usability.
