Maruti Suzuki eVitara

Maruti Suzuki is all set to make its electric SUV debut in December 2025 with the eVitara. Unveiled at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo, it will be produced at the Hansalpur facility in Gujarat. The eVitara will come with two battery options – 49 kWh and 61 kWh – offering up to 500 km of range. The India-spec version is expected to feature a 2WD setup focused on efficiency and affordability.

Tata Motors will revive the iconic Sierra nameplate on November 25, 2025. It will be offered in both ICE and EV variants, with the ICE model arriving first, followed by the EV version in January 2026. Powering the SUV will be Tata’s new 1.5-litre tGDi turbo-petrol engine alongside a diesel option. Inside, expect a premium triple-screen setup and advanced connectivity features.

Renault Duster (New Gen)

The all-new Renault Duster will return to India on January 26, 2026. Built on the CMF-B platform, the SUV will use a 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine producing 154 bhp and 250 Nm. Its design will stay true to the international model, with a few India-specific updates. Renault is also exploring a localised hybrid powertrain option to appeal to fuel-conscious buyers.

Nissan Tekton

Nissan’s upcoming midsize SUV, the Tekton, will share its platform and engine with the new Renault Duster. Expected to launch in early 2026, it will feature design cues inspired by Nissan’s flagship Patrol SUV. The Tekton will house the same 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine making 154 bhp and 250 Nm of torque, offering a mix of style and performance.

New-Gen Kia Seltos

Kia is preparing to unveil the second-generation Seltos globally by late 2025, with an India launch following in 2026. Internally codenamed SP3i, the new Seltos will get a complete design overhaul, refreshed interiors, and new technology features. While petrol and diesel options will continue, a strong-hybrid version is expected to arrive later in 2027.
