2025 Tata Sierra Unofficial Bookings Begin at Select Dealerships
The 2025 Tata Sierra has started reaching dealerships, and some outlets across India have now begun accepting unofficial bookings for the upcoming midsize SUV. This is ahead of Tata Motors formally opening reservations.
Tata Sierra Unofficial Bookings Begin
Dealerships in multiple cities are taking early bookings for the Sierra with amounts ranging between ₹11,000 and ₹51,000. These unofficial bookings will be converted into official ones once Tata opens the order window.
Early booking could help customers get priority allocation, especially if demand spikes after the price announcement.
Expected Delivery Timeline
According to dealership sources, deliveries of the new Sierra are likely to begin in the first week of January 2026. Buyers should be prepared for longer waiting periods, similar to what we’ve seen with recent Tata launches.

Expected Pricing and Launch Details
Tata will announce prices for the 2025 Sierra on November 25. The SUV is expected to be priced between ₹11 lakh and ₹20 lakh (ex-showroom).
With this positioning, the Sierra will directly enter the popular midsize SUV segment.
Engine Options and Key Specs
The new Sierra will offer three engine choices: a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol producing around 170 hp, a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and the familiar 118 hp 1.5-litre diesel used in the Nexon and Curvv.
Full specifications will be revealed closer to launch.
Rivals in the Midsize SUV Segment
The Sierra will take on established midsize SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Victoris, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Kia Seltos and Honda Elevate.
Its design, new petrol engines and feature-rich cabin could help it stand out in this highly competitive space.

What Buyers Should Know Before Booking
Unofficial bookings are handled directly by dealerships and may have varying terms. These will be shifted to official bookings once Tata announces the process.
Buyers should confirm refund conditions and allocation timelines before placing an unofficial order.
