2025 Renault Duster Launched in Right-Hand-Drive: India Launch Soon

Renault Introduces the New-Gen Duster in South Africa
Renault has officially launched the third-generation Duster in South Africa, marking the debut of the right-hand-drive (RHD) version. Built on the CMF-B modular platform, this new model is expected to arrive in India by 2026.
Bold Design Inspired by Bigster Concept
With a starting price of 489,999 Rand (around Rs 23.36 lakh), the Duster gets a fresh design inspired by the Dacia Bigster concept. It features Y-shaped LED DRLs, a bold front grille, squared wheel arches, and a rugged stance that maintains its signature off-road appeal.
Feature-Packed Interior
Inside, the new Duster comes with modern tech and comfort features. It includes a 7-inch digital driver’s display and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other highlights include climate control, rear AC vents, a 360-degree camera, and power-adjustable front seats.
Enhanced Safety Features
Renault has prioritized safety by equipping the SUV with six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), and Level 2 ADAS. The advanced driver assistance system includes automatic emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, and lane-keeping assist.

Multiple Powertrain Options
The new Duster offers a range of powertrains:
- 1.2-litre turbo-petrol with a 48V mild hybrid system (128 BHP)
- 1.6-litre strong hybrid with two electric motors (138 BHP)
- 1.0-litre petrol-LPG unit (98 BHP)
The India-spec version is likely to retain the 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine from the previous-gen model.
Expected India Launch & Competition
The new Duster is set to take on rivals like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Toyota Hyryder. Renault is expected to launch the SUV in India later this year, with prices starting around Rs 10 lakh.
With its refreshed design, tech-loaded cabin, and multiple engine choices, the 2025 Renault Duster aims to be a strong contender in India’s compact SUV market.
