2025 Hyundai Alcazar Updated With New Diesel Variant, Affordable Petrol DCT

Hyundai Alcazar Gets Mid-Spec Corporate Variant
Hyundai has expanded the Alcazar lineup by introducing a new Corporate trim. Positioned between the Prestige and Platinum variants, this new diesel-only option has both a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission. Priced at ₹17.86 lakh for the manual and ₹19.28 lakh for the automatic (ex-showroom), it adds more variety for buyers who prefer diesel power without stretching for top-end trims.
One of the biggest highlights is the inclusion of a voice-enabled panoramic sunroof, a feature previously reserved for the Signature and Platinum variants.

Petrol DCT Now More Accessible
Hyundai has also made the petrol DCT more affordable by offering it in the base Prestige variant. Priced at ₹18.63 lakh (ex-showroom), this is now the most budget-friendly way to get an Alcazar with a dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Until now, buyers had to opt for higher-end variants to enjoy clutch-free convenience with the petrol engine.
Updated Features Without Stretching the Budget
The new Corporate trim doesn’t compromise on features. It comes equipped with a 10.25-inch HD infotainment system, ambient lighting across the cabin, dual-zone automatic climate control, a wireless charger, and Hyundai’s BlueLink connected tech. Smartphone integration is now seamless with wired-to-wireless adapters for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Design-wise, the SUV retains its familiar styling, including 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, bridge-style roof rails, quad-beam LED headlamps, and sequential turn indicators in select trims.

Powertrain Details Remain Unchanged
Hyundai continues offering the Alcazar two engine options: a 1.5-litre turbo petrol producing 158 bhp and 253 Nm, and a 1.5-litre diesel generating 114 bhp and 250 Nm. Both engines get a 6-speed manual as standard. The petrol variant uses a 7-speed DCT, while the diesel offers a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
Alcazar vs Rivals: Strengthened Mid-Range Appeal
With these updates, Hyundai aims to make the Alcazar more competitive against strong rivals like the Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV700, and MG Hector Plus. By adding premium features to mid-level trims and reducing the entry point for automatics, Hyundai is responding to evolving buyer expectations.

Price Range and Final Word
The 2025 Hyundai Alcazar now ranges between ₹17.22 lakh and ₹21.74 lakh (ex-showroom). With a more feature-rich mid-spec diesel and a budget-friendly petrol DCT, the lineup offers stronger value than before.
These updates reflect Hyundai’s ongoing effort to offer a more premium experience across segments, without necessarily pushing buyers to the top-end.
